A cause worthy of all your support! Simply put, that is Paid 4 U Cafe for you, the lip-smacking food is only an afterthought here.
Started by The Mustard Seed Family Project, the concept behind the cafe is simple. When you order a meal here, you are essentially paying it forward to those less fortunate than us thereby lending a hand to those in need. We were fortunate enough to be invited for the soft launch of this cafe back in June.
Located in Ingle Farm, Paid 4 U Cafe exceeded all our expectations. The decor is minimalist and modern yet this place exudes a warmth that you dont generally expect from a cafe of this sort. And the fact that the staff are all volunteers definitely adds to the charm of this place. With close to about 9 tables, this cafe is fairly big and there is also an activity room attached which could be in the works for hosting events? Anyways, the cafe serves Indian fusion as well your regular continental fare.
The cafe was jam packed on the day of the launch, so we ended up ordering takeaway (rice and butter chicken). the cafe also stocks potted plants and beanies and knick knacks for sale. With a significant amount of the proceeds going towards supporting the homeless, this concept cafe is the real deal, especially during the challenging times we are all going through.
Coming to the food, that butter chicken was delish! I guess it helps when the main force behind this cafe is a highly qualified chef! The pricing is decent too.
Paid 4 U Cafe is worth not one but multiple visits considering every meal supports a worthy cuase. As for me, I cam back with a heart full of hope!
