Its been a while since I wrote something here and I sincerely apologize for the same. However, even though the page has been silent, we have been travelling, so at least one thing is going as per plan!

So my husband had lunch here once on his work trip and really loved this place. That’s how we ended up at Bridgewater on pretty much the same weekend. A pretty little village nestled away in the Adelaide Hills, Bridgewater has a distinct English vibe to it. The Bridgewater Inn, established in 1855 is one of South Australia’s historic pubs and a venue for pretty much every season. This place has a little something for everyone! Be it inside at the cellar resturant on warm days or outside under the vines in the beautiful beer garden or down below by the creek, Bridgewater Inn is the perfect place to relax and have a hearty meal on a lazy weekend. The live music on Sundays is an added plus. Another big positive about this place is the space, there is loads and loads of space making social distancing easy especially in 2020 and well as a mother the first thing I noticed was there is enough space to fit in a whole load of prams 🙂

We went for the pub classics while ordering which meant fish and chips, schnitzel, burger and pizza! The food was nice and the service excellent. The children really loved this place, especially the shallow creek running along the length of the restaurant. For me, I couldn’t take my eyes off the beer garden with its hanging fairy lights, nothing short of magical!

Overall, the Bridgewater Inn is the perfect spot for a brunch on a day when the weather is nice. The food, the service are all added bonuses if you ask me!
