Vacations have started and we invariably end up window shopping in malls cross the city throughout the week. One such recent outing saw us spending a long time at Fun City in Express Avenue. The children were so tired afterwards that I caved in and allowed a round of junk food. And Burger King being the nearest, we ended up here.
While standing in line to make my order, it suddenly dawned on me that we have never tried this place even though it’s been open for quite some time now! You see, we stay away from junk food as much as possible!
After standing in queue for almost 20 minutes, I was finally able to give my order of 2 crispy chicken super saver meals and a side of small chicken fries. While the fries were served with a smokey spicy dip, the super saver meals consisted of a crispy chicken burger, a side of french fries and a cold drink. It took another 20 minutes for the order to get ready as the place was super crowded.
The waiting time was around 40 minutes in all for a couple of burgers! Phew! The kids were so hungry with all the waiting that they wolfed down everything within minutes. The price for the above came to 538 rupees. Overall, the pricing is quite affordable, but the waiting period just gets to you after a point.
