We were staying at Concorde Hotel during our trip to Kuala Lumpur and the breakfast buffet was included in our deal. The Melting Pot restaurant is located right near the entrance of the hotel and has a modern, functional décor.
The service here starts from as early as 6.30 every day. The spread here leaves you spoilt for choice. In fact, it kind of makes you feel overwhelmed seeing all that food on the counter!
The menu keeps changing daily except for the live Waffles/Pancake/EggsToOrder stations. Every single item here is top notch, both presentation wise and flavor-wise. And the tea was definitely one of the best in KL. Proper tea is something I had real difficulty finding in KL, the versions were not even close to the one I am used to. And the Teh Tarik/hot milk tea felt like drinking Milo 🙂
Service at Melting Pot needs some improvement though I am afraid the issue has more to do with the place being understaffed. The breakfast buffet was part of the deal so I have no idea about the actual price. I am guessing it would roughly come to 150MYR for two, about 2500rs.
