Want to just laze around and have an idyllic lunch on a Sunday? Then Madras Wok is the place! A small resort right at the beginning of ECR, I had been seeing lot of pics from their restaurant on social media off late. Finally made it here couple of weeks back.
Ambience & Food
Madras Wok is small and cosy restaurant with a lovely view of the resorts’ lawn. We ordered chicken tikka and golden fried prawns for starter, butter naans, paneer kulchas and kadai chicken for the main course and a fried ice cream for dessert. Except for the fried icecream, everything else was top notch and packed with loads of flavor. The fried ice cream was not that great though.
Service
Service can be a bit slow at times and you need to ask for water at times. Also, there was only one person to take the orders which did lead to some delays. However, we didn’t mind it much since we were not in a hurry and the kids could play in the lawn in between courses.
Overall, Madras Wok is a good place to spend some time with friends and have some good food as well. Also, if you have kids tagging along, then this place is perfect for them to stretch their legs and do a little bit of running around!
